Dear Friend,
We deeply appreciate your generosity! Your vital food donation will make a profound difference for many hungry and vulnerable people needing our assistance. Thanks to you, many families trying to survive on minimum wages, the unemployed, senior citizens forced to choose between food and medication, and children will experience fewer food insecurities and be better fed. As we wrapped up our 40th Anniversary, the past year was incredibly busy at Northwest Harvest. Together with our community, we helped change the lives of thousands of people. An elderly woman named Mary, who recently visited our Cherry Street Food Bank told us, "Thank you for caring about me. It's not just about the food, it's about hope, and you give me hope. It has been such a struggle for me. I can't thank you enough for the food and the smiles. As long as you're here, I know I will be OK. I can honestly say I love you people for what you do for me. I don't know where I would be without you." I want you to know that we deeply appreciate your investment in Northwest Harvest. You have made a profound difference, improving the lives of many hungry people with your food donation. On behalf of Mary, and the many others who are the recipients of your generosity, thank you for the priceless gift you have given to those we serve. Sincerely, Shelley Rotondo Executive Director |
